Roberto Rumbaut joined IGNIA in April 2021 as Industry and Investor Relations Manager. In this role, Roberto manages the day-to-day communications with limited partners, handles IGNIA’s internal and external communications, and strategic partnerships. He supports the Partners in the fundraising process and with the Fund’s legal and compliance aspects. Prior to joining IGNIA, Roberto led the Corporate Venture Capital unit at Orange Investments developing a Scale & Growth Program for early stage proptech startups in Latin America. He previously managed business development, process improvement and quality assurance for active real estate projects. He co-founded the MX Proptech Association in order to strengthen and promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem for this sector in the region. Roberto holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering form Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
