Mauricio joined IGNIA in 2024 as part of the investment team, focusing on supporting portfolio companies and actively sourcing new investment opportunities. Before joining IGNIA, Mauricio worked at ALIVE Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on investing in early-stage impact-driven startups across Latin America. During his time at ALIVE, Mauricio was responsible for actively seeking new pipeline opportunities, structuring and leading investment processes, and supporting portfolio companies. Mauricio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from La Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
