José Antonio joined IGNIA in 2024, where he focuses on providing strategic and analytical support to portfolio companies, alongside sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Prior to joining IGNIA, José Antonio started his career at FinMédica, a healthcare business development company in Mexico City. Following this, he spent nearly two years at BBVA, where he was part of the Investment Banking Advisory team, participating in M&A and Equity Capital Markets projects. José Antonio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
